Personal data privacy policy

This policy explains how Hotel Branding House collects, uses and protects the personal data of people who write to us or visit this site, in compliance with Ley 1581 de 2012 (Colombia's data protection law) and Decreto 1074 de 2015 (its implementing regulation).

2. What data we collect

Only what we need to handle your request:

• Contact data: name, email, phone and the message you write to us in the form.
• Browsing data: pages viewed, where the visit came from, device type and approximate location, collected by Google Analytics and Meta only if you accept cookies.

We don't ask for or process sensitive data or data from children and teenagers. If we receive that kind of information without asking for it, we delete it.

3. What we use it for

• Answering your requests, quotes and questions.
• Managing the business relationship with our clients.
• Understanding, in aggregate, how the site is used so we can improve it.

We don't sell your data or hand it to third parties for advertising.

4. Authorization

By sending the contact form or writing to us by email or WhatsApp, you authorize us to process your data under the terms of this policy. You can revoke that authorization at any time by writing to alejo@hotelbrandinghouse.com, unless there's a legal or contractual duty to keep it.

5. Your rights as a data subject

Ley 1581 de 2012 (Colombia's data protection law) gives you the right to:

• Access, update and correct your personal data.
• Request proof of the authorization you gave us.
• Be informed about how we use it.
• File complaints with the Superintendencia de Industria y Comercio (Colombia's data protection authority).
• Revoke the authorization and request deletion of your data, when no legal or contractual duty prevents it.
• Access your personal data free of charge.

6. How to exercise them

Write to alejo@hotelbrandinghouse.com with the subject line “Data protection”, stating your name, the data or right you want to exercise and how you'd like us to reply.

• Inquiries: we reply within ten (10) business days at most.
• Claims: we reply within fifteen (15) business days at most.

7. Who we share data with

We work with technology providers that process data on our behalf:

• Hostinger: website hosting.
• FormSubmit: delivering the contact form to our inbox.
• Calendly: call scheduling.
• Google Analytics and Meta: audience measurement, only with your consent.

Some of these services are outside Colombia, so your data may be transferred internationally with the safeguards the law requires.

8. Cookies

This site uses Google Analytics and Meta cookies to understand how people browse it. They aren't activated until you accept them in the notice that appears when you arrive. If you choose “Decline”, they aren't installed. You can change your mind by clearing the site's data in your browser.

9. Security and retention

We apply reasonable technical and administrative measures to prevent unauthorized access, loss or alteration of the data. We keep it for as long as the business relationship lasts and for as long as legal obligations require.

This policy is effective as of October 11, 2026. Any material change will be posted on this same page.
